7th Les White Ledgestone Bee Released

Franklin's Bumblebee

Tournament Director Nate Heinold is happy to announce the 7th and final Les White Bee from the Ledgestone 2018 Bee Collection: the Franklin’s Bumblebee. The Franklin’s Bumblebee is a critically endangered bee of the western United States and is only known by a 190 by 70 mile area in Southern Oregon and Northern California. The Franklin’s Bumblebee has not been since 2006. Some scientists feel this bee is already extinct, but for now this bee is on the critically imperiled list. This bee is distinguished from other bumblebees by a solid black abdomen, with yellow anteriorly on the thorax in a U-shaped design.

We are happy to announce that every AM player in the 2018 Ledgestone Insurance Open will be receiving one of these Franklin’s Bumblebee Swirly ESP Buzzzes in their player packs. In addition, Infinite Discs will have 200 of these for sale on their website around tournament time, and Plastic Addicts will have a few for sale in their shop during tournament week as well. The Franklin’s Bumblebee compliments the other 6 bees that have already been released in the Les White Ledgestone Bee collection: The Robo Bee, Killer Bee, Digger Bee, Honey Bee, Leafcutter Bee and the Bumblebee. These are available for purchase at Infinite Discs, while supplies last. Spots are still open in the event, so get signed up while availability remains: http://lisopen.com/register/
